Insurance Claims

fully-insured-tree-service-tulsaRickert Landscaping and Tree Service staff are knowledgeable about insurance claims and we work with you to maximize your plan’s coverage and minimize your out-of-pocket expense.

If you’re filing a claim with your insurance company we can direct-bill them or delay your payment until after you receive the funds from your insurance company. This way you don’t have to tie up your cash in time of disaster.

Insurance adjusters typically can’t get out to review your damage for a day, a week or longer, especially during the days after a storm that has affected multiple homes. In the meantime, roof damage could be aggravated. Even worse, rain, snow or debris might leak into the interior, causing you additional damage, discomfort and inconvenience. Rickert gets the job started right away by tarping and securing the structure.

Rickerts Liability Insurance Coverage

Our insurance coverage protects you from liability

Most homeowners’ insurance policies will not cover damages, medical bills or lost wages in the event a contractor or one of his employees gets hurt on the homeowner’s property.

Our contractor’s special insurance and workers compensation policies cover these bills, which can be extensive. (A chainsaw wound seen in the hospital emergency room can run a tab of $5,000 or more!)

When hiring a tree service company, it’s crucial that you ask to see the company’s evidence of insurance coverage. There are many small, independent tree services that do not carry this special insurance and some do not carry workers compensation coverage. Simply asking, “Are you insured,” doesn’t get the job done. Ask to see the certificate of liability insurance.

You’re smart to choose Rickert Landscaping & Tree Service! We’ll be glad to show you our proof of insurance.
